LimeRed
President
Greater Chicago Area

A leader in social impact-driven business and technology with experience building teams, creating and validating business strategy, directing design, operations, and communications.

Emily has founded many organizations and companies during the last two decades in business. Currently, she runs two companies: LimeRed, a social impact- branding agency and Even Made, teaching DIY skills.

Founded in 2004, LimeRed is an award-winning social impact branding agency with international-scope clients. It is a Certified B Corporation, the most rigorous certification of triple-bottom businesses, and a certified WBE and LGBT company. With her invaluable team, they build brave brands through research-driven brand strategy and design.

Emily co-founded Even Made, a company that teaches home improvement skills “for everyone else.” Even Made helps people try the trades and build confidence and generational wealth through home improvement.

Emily is a Member of the School Board in Skokie District 68, running her campaign on a platform of equity, sustainability, and innovation. She is a Board Member of the Chicago Foundation for Women, which invests in women and girls as catalysts, building strong communities for all.

Emily is the Business Leadership Chair for We The Change, a group of international women CEOs of B Corporations, leading an initiative to close the pay gap in women-led purpose-driven companies.  Emily is also the fundraising chair of her school’s PTA. She previously served on the Free Street Theater and We Will boards and taught in the Media department at Columbia College Chicago.

Emily lives in Skokie with her wife and three children. In her experiential spectrum, two things are consistent: her ability to choose the right thing, no matter how hard, and her uncanny ability to create something out of nothing.
